Meet Jenna
I’m Jenna, the owner of Preserved Flora LLC and I started working with florals in 2020. At that time, I was pursuing my nursing degree and working at a local restaurant. Due to the pandemic, the restaurant I was working at temporarily closed so I decided to play around with drying florals. I quickly realized I loved tapping into my creative side so I started preserving florals and placing them into various frames for family and friends. This grew into something I never knew was possible! I am now doing floral preservation *almost* full time and nursing part time. I have found that this is the perfect balance for me!
I love to travel, and will take every opportunity I can to see new places, experience new cultures, food, hikes, etc. I am most definitely a foodie and will try almost anything.
My people and cat Tilli are my biggest blessings! You will find us at a local market, trying new restaurants, playing pickleball, volleyball, card games, hiking or taking on a creative project.
I’m Hannah! I am the artist/designer with Preserved Flora. Much of my creativity is expressed through the visual arts. In my personal work, I explore many various mediums, and often use foraged materials found in nature, or up-cycled materials; thus, deepening connection to the natural world and emphasizing sustainability and the importance of regenerative practices. So, floral design is a perfect fit! My passion lies in the connection to nature through self expression and creativity, and vice versa~the relation to self and creativity through a connection with nature!
Additional things that fuel and fulfill me: hiking and, more generally, just being outside, expanding my horizons both literally and figuratively through travel, dancing, spending time with my cats and loved ones, and enjoying good food (which usually means I didn’t make it)!
